How many more times do we have to read this, to get the message...? cellphones.jpg

YES!!!!!!!
And, at the very least, pretty significant loss of short term memory.
I can definitely see it happening to me.

well then, alot more room on the road comming up.
And H, loss of short term memory from weed is more like it.

I'm not too worried. I quit smoking cell phones back in 2000.

I only smoke when I drink cheap oil.

"In the United States, the organization most influential in the government's setting of standards for microwave exposure is the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), which bills itself as "a leading authority on areas ranging from aerospace systems, computers, and telecommunications to biomedical engineering, electric power, and consumer electronics." According to Slesin, "The committees setting the EM safety levels at the IEEE historically have been dominated by representatives from the military, companies like Raytheon and GE, the telecom companies, and now the cell-phone industry."

Being an EE myself (not an IEEE member, they are too political) I don't believe I am (or anyone else here for that matter) in anyway qualified or justified in setting acceptable levels for human exposure to microwave radiation. If I am working around the stuff I am damn sure it is all in a sealed environment before I will go near it. Back around 1998 when cellphones were switching from car installed / bag phones to one piece handhelds a Microwave Engineer friend of mine was showing me a before / after thermal scan of a persons head while talking on a cellphone after 20 minutes. The side of the brain closest to the phone was a noticably warmer than the other. Granted the phones back then were probably 3x more powerful than the ones today but it definitely showed there is some effects. Listen, like I said I don't know but like alcohol if used with moderation you will probably be fine. In the Navy sailors are exposed to higher powered pulsed FM microwaves from the radars and communications 24/7 and they don't all have brain tumors. Use the damned speaker phone feature, power levels drop off exponentially after just few inches. Your Bluetooth earpieces don't count though, they are microwave too.
