The linked article essentially calls for a hard-left nominee. Obama would make maybe five percent of the country happy if he were to nominate such a person. In reality, such a move would be rejected in the same vein as Nixon's nomination of Harrold Carswell or Reagan's of Robert Bork. Meanwhile, Justice Stevens would be gone, another nomination needed and the court even more (5-3) conservative. However, the heart wants what the heart wants...?
We are at the same crossroads as the election: like Obama, she is the lesser of two evils. If we don't take her, we will likely get somebody even further to the right.
