Tea-bagger Bag Job
The point of this post isn't to mock the Tea-baggers or to question their judgment. The point is to appreciate the power of conservative political rhetoric in 2010. Many of those who stand to benefit from a stronger safety net have been led to believe they want a weaker one. Many of those who'll finally be able to get better care under a health care system that's been screwing them over have been convinced that they won't, or can't, benefit from reform.
Comments
"A Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday took a look at the Tea Party members and found them to be just as anachronistic to the direction of the country's demographics as the Republican Party. For instance, they were disproportionately white, evangelical Christian and 'less educated ... than the average Joe and Jane Six-Pack.' This at a time when the country is becoming more diverse (some demographers believe that 2010 could be the first year that most children born in the country will be nonwhite), less doctrinally dogmatic, and college enrollment is through the roof. The Tea Party, my friends, is not the future."

Anyone who would allow Sarah Palin's handlers to take over your movement is beyond repair. Same dance: go left, burn them out: go right, same shit. What will people who are pissed at the Bolshevik style tyranny do, vote Nazi-style republican. Why do so many willingly participate in their own destruction? Politics means:
poli-tics. I don't think the carcass has much blood left.

Those that complain endlessly are usually never satisfied. Even when a complaint is remedied, rather than rejoice in it, they will move directly on to the next complaint. Seems a shame to live life this way. It's better not to worry so much and enjoy our short time on this planet more.

its funny when Bush was president dissent was the highest form of patriotism and hillary clinton said,"im tired of hearing its not patriotic to dis agree with this adminstration or any administration." but now any excercise in the first ammendmant with even a hint of dissent by people automatically gets branded as far right wing hatred. there were books written about how to assisnate bush he was called every name in the book including an idiot, but the last time I checked he was a pilot in the national guard and i dont know any pilots that are idiots, in the litteral sense of the word. because bush was an "idiot" it was ok to disagree with his idiotic policies but if someone so much as farts in Obama's direction they are labeled as racists. there is hypocracy on both sides but 220 reps pushed through this bill and to say its the will of the majority of americans is an absolute farce. Obama just appointed a union labor attorney to the NLRB in a recess appointment because even the his own party members would have denied that appointment four out of five of the board memebers have pro union back grounds I wonder who they will favor in their decisions? you guys win you have the house the senate and the white house Obama has the right idea about ramming as much of his job killing growth stunting legislation while he can because in seven months and one day we go to the polls and we will find out what the voters of america have to say about his agenda, I cant wait to see the results, if democrats lose seats in both houses then it will be fair to say the people dont like whats happened, if they dont lose any seats or gain seats then it will be fair to say that america likes what they have done. somehow i think they will lose seats on both houses but it wont be because informed americans went to the polls and voted the best choice, it will be because the vast right wing political machine used hatred and scare tactics to trick voters into voting for the wrong people. just a guess?? lets oull this post out of the archives on nov 3rd and see if i'm right
