It's Probably Not in My Place to Say..

.. but can I at least ask?

What should be done if the leader of an independent country just happens to be one of the worst criminals in recent history and who has hordes of followers who worship and adore him throughout the world? Should not all of us (at the very least) publicly and officially condemn this leader in the strongest language possible? Should not all right-thinking countries cry out in anger and outrage- and demand his immediate removal from office?

Since the country this criminal leader resides in (and the people who support him) continue to look the other way in shameful disregard, shouldn't all nations of the civilized world take the unorthodox, but courageous and urgently responsible step to try this powerful lawbreaker in a World Court- or at the very least ban him from entering their borders and demand that he be legally and immediately removed from office by his own citizens, state officials and countrymen?

Other than outright murder and kidnapping, what could be more heinous than what this man has done- this powerful leader who single-handedly covered up hundreds of crimes against helpless victims, and who knowingly protected untold dozens of the worst and most unrepentant predators- criminals who destroyed the lives of so many innocents?

Amen

Thank you, Charles!

YES! YES! YES!
Enough is enough. The Catholic church is a hideout for pedophiles. I am with you 100%.

Not that I don't disagree with you my old mentor, but outright attacking the Pope lots of brass, coool.Alleluyah!

Its a travesty that our politicians don't have the courage to charge the US Catholic Diocese with a criminal conspiracy of mass sexual assault and "prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law".

What would Jesus say?

One interesting point that, so far, no one is addressing:
Too bad there are no polls to reflect how the majority of priests who are cool and totally innocent feel about all this bad publicity which reflects on them- and how they REALLY feel about this pope..

Let's see now...a certain kind of Homosexual (pedophile)becomes a Priest in the Catholic Church ..and uses his position in the Church to secretly advance his sexual needs, knowing full well that what he is doing is a grave sin in the eyes of the Church his fellow man and of the God he is presumably serving.

At some point his behavior becomes known and upon further investigation more Priests (the Gay-Pedophile types)are found to have acted in the same manner.

How should the Church deal
with this issue

Should the Church have a policy of no gays allowed? (Do they?) Or maybe, Gays are allowed but not Pedophile Gays?

Whether or not you have such a policy will not guarantee that Gay Pedophiles will not be able to still become Priests . You know People can be devious at times.

When however the Church discovers that some of it's Priests have engaged in Pedophilia it has a Moral responsibility to address
the problem and to try and correct it.

Do you think at this point it would be wise to shout out to the World, " We have a problem here, can you offer your suggestions as to how we should deal with it?"

The manner in which the Church has chosen to deal with the problem is ,I dont think very different than the manner in which most corporations or governments or personal families would for that matter.

When these institutions find that the people in there charge have behaved badly. their natural instinct is of self preservation. They begin to do whatever is necessary to hide whatever is possible to hide , and for the most part never admit to being guilty very quickly if at all.

The Church to it's credit has admitted that the crimes were committed and that it finds such behavior reprehensible.( unlike most governments who always choose to defend whatever form of hatred and violence they are responsible for.)

But the mistake and the bigger problem in the minds of the Church's critics ,is of the cover-up behavior of the Church authorities (from Priests to the Pope),and the way in which the offending Priests were treated.( way too leniently.)

I can see where, when they were deciding what punishment would be most suitable for the crime that a moral dilemna must have come into play. How do you deal with this kind of sin and sinner? ( Where's St.Thoma Aquinas when you need him?)

Do you condemn and banish them, send them off to prison,or try and understand and help them in the manner of a good Cristian?

In the end, through some kind of tortured logic, I'm pretty certain they did what they thought was best for the Church.

As for the victims on the other hand , they are being financially compensated and outside of apologies for what occurred ,the only other thing the Church could do would be to offer up there prayers to God in hopes that the victims would receive in grace what no man can give to another(under these circumstances) forgivness.

So,in conclusion, after all that being said,it would seem to me,that the only other thing left for the Church to do in dealing with this matter , is to try and make sure that it doesn't happen again.

As for the Pope being tried in the World Court for crimes against children ...as per Charle's recommendation, I'm for that ,if the abusive parents of the World and the Bankers and government leaders who ignore starving children of the World and and if those who allow violence and hatred to flourish in the World ...if they precede the Pope I'll be down with that.

The Vatican has lots of influence over governments, much like Zionists do. So it makes sense that governments turn a blind eye to the evil committed. The issue goes far beyond pedophiles wanting to be priests to find a safe haven to practice. I would suggest that being a pedophile is only a gateway act of perversion. God knows what else they are doing. The pedophile thing is not a coincidence by any means and something deeper lurks in the rotten bowels of, and not exclusively, the Vatican. This world is run by sick mofos period. Sure, a world court would be great, but that would be a whitewash, much like the Nuremberg trials, The Warren Commission, and The 9-11 Commission. By the way, The Nazi's had lots of support from the Vatican. Must have been like-minded groups.
