Chuck
I would suggest talking about the war and whether you and howie support it.
howie just wrote a scathing piece on patrick kennedy's rant but doesn't comment on the war itself.

Re: healthcare...one aspect of the health care debate that I have not heard addressed is the cost factor of the "doctor resource". Basic law of supply and demand dictates a high cost for a doctor's time because it is a scare resource. Simply, we don't make enough doctors.
on an aside ...do you wish a radio performer good luck the same as an actor? is it "break a leg" or is it "break a lip" ?

How about you mention how this is the biggest violation of the Constitution in US history if the take over of health scare passes...
Oh, I forgot , you libs hate the Constitution it contradicts socialism.
He will mop the floor with you don't go there. Stick to the emotion that is your only defense. Facts will only cloudy your argument. If he starts to debate the facts don't, you will lose. Just pull out the Lib handbook and tell him he does not care about poor people it's a great comeback.

"Facts are stupid things" -Ronald Reagan
Liberals LOVE the constitution- that's simply a talk-show bite like "nuclear option" and "healthcare = socialism".
This conservative rhetorical bs goes a long way toward obfuscating the real reason conservatives don't want a national Healthcare program: greed and oppression.
BTW, the liberal handbook is not "Das Kapital" it's the "Bhagavad Ghita".
Without compassion we are nothing.

Whatever you talk about with Howie, we all know you're never afraid to go one toke over the line! Give 'em hell, Charles!

The real issue with the current situation is one of envy.

I'll repeat something I said earlier on Facebook: I doubt this is going to be a political interview. Do I look that crazy? I am retired and live in Hawai'i. Howie knows that my politics are diametrically opposite his. Just as you all have friends who are the politically opposite of you- Howie and his family have been to my home when I lived back in MA and we have known each other for many years. We just don't go there... and for good reason. This hour interview will probably be boring to those who are looking for a fight between the Left and the Right. If any of you think people holding these two different philosophies can change each others' minds, then you know something I don't..
