If each guy had a party on the same night and you could only go to one, which would it be? Jerry makes Hef and company look about as hip as Pat Robertson. It is nice to see the only living Grateful Dead keyboard player,Tom Constanten,in action. I didn't see Pigpen, though. C'mon, Hef, he wasn't that ugly.
Hef may not appear hip now, but who else was having the Dead on national(syndicated) TV back in 1968? Bob Weir looks like he's enjoying sitting next to a little stage dressing for Hef's Playboy After Dark.

Watch it again; I believe that is Pigpen (Ron McKernan) playing congas, which makes sense because as a keyboard player he made a good drummer.
