Want Feel Good?

Got good sound system?
Grab a cup o'coffee or a beer and turn up the volume! This was recorded for BBC Children in Need and will be available on Nov. 9. "All You Need Is Love" featuring: Brian May (Queen), Bill Wyman (Rolling Stones), Nick Mason (Pink Floyd), Peter Gabriel (Genesis), Bryan Ferry (Roxy Music), Hugh Cornwell (The Stranglers) and many others. (Thanks to Sauuce for this gem.)- and Deep Track reminds us that he still prefers the original!

One of the participants was Sir Terry Wogan. Now the Brits know how to treat a DJ who survived on air over 30 years. Sir Charles. How would that sound? The vid was just ok. I'd rather watch(and hear) the original

Why is Winnie the Pooh wearing panties on his head? Oh that British sense of humor. This video needs Benny Hill running around whacking the old guy over the head!

It's a little bit o "we are the World"-y much like that offal version of Across the Universe with Bono and Alicia Keys- sigh
the Beatles are really becoming elevator music as the Boomers age. I know, I know,
It's happening with The Clash too...

Are you kidding? The Beatles becoming Elevator Music? Hall and Oates is now Supermarket Music. I was at the store and this girl told me that "she had heard of them and her mother likes them." I wanted to climb under a rock. There is always something to be said about the original version of songs. No one quite measures up to the original.

Wait a minute. That was one of the most appealing groups of people, of all ages, that I have seen in a long time and the singing and playing was great. Brian May could be one of the most underrated guitarists of my generation and it was great to see him. Thanks Charles.

No freakin way you can compare this new sterilized version sung by people probably continents apart with a the original sung by a friendly gathering of people in the studio grooving to each other to a world wide audience

Are these ongoing arguments (above) just about the silliest any of you have ever encountered?
(big smile)

Not kidding -well I agree- that Brian May is GREAT- but it's true!
- all you need is love....
