I know lots of people who listen to Air America radio. I am grateful for it. They even question obama's policies. That is one thing FIX news and neo-con radio didn't do with bush. Though I easily see their short-sightedness, rather, bias...Wait, agenda. I love the name. It was a CIA program from the Vietnam years. Good research topic.

I listen to other things as well. Stuff that is so honest, it can't get out on the lamestream right now. Unless the lamestream changes. It calls out both parties as anti-american lap dogs for the globalists.

Good point about the fairness doctrine. It would also get rid pure, unfiltered radio that actually tells the truth consistently without worrying about pissing off the left or right camps. It would destroy the little guy. Mainly, alternative media. Try listening to Alex Jones. One might see Rush as the trash that he is.

What do you think radio station owners will do if they are forced to match conservative talk with liberal talk when the liberal talk doesnt bring in any sponsers? so you have 12 hours of money making shows followed by 12 hours of money losing shows and eventually the station owners will just drop the talk all together which is the goal of the fairness doctrine anyway, Why is okay for the government to interfere in free market companies? Unless they took stimulus money i dont see how they can justify it? whst about cbs, nbc abc cnn msnbc and npr are those stations going to report the news half the time with a conservative slant and is fox news going to report the news with a liberal slant? I dont think so. Government should stay out of things. They certainly wouldnt be interfering if liberal talk dominated the radiowaves and conservatives couldnt turn a profit or maintain a presence
