To the Tea Party People
You didn't get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate energy policy.
You didn't get mad when a covert CIA operative got outed.
You didn't get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.
You didn't get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.
You didn't get mad when we spent over $600 billion(and counting) on said illegal war.
You didn't get mad when over 10 billion dollars simply “disappeared” in Iraq.
You didn't get mad when you saw the Abu Grahib photos.
You didn't get mad when you found out we were torturing people.
You didn't get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.
You didn't get mad when we didn't catch Bin Laden.
You didn't get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.
You didn't get mad when we let a major US city drown.
You didn't get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark during the Bush years after he inherited a surplus from Clinton.
You finally got mad when.. when... (wait for it... )
You finally got mad when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, are all okay with you- but helping other Americans... well f..k that.
That about right? You know it is.
You people have all lost your f...king minds. You are selfish, greedy, obnoxious, narcissistic, and frankly... stupid. Your pathetic little misspelled protest signs are embarrassing. Maybe you ought to find the smart person in your midst and let them make up all the signs, cause man, you look like a bunch of idiots.
(Also you're ugly and your mother dresses you funny.)

How very well put!!! Who is controlling the propoganda against Health Care? Such fear tactics!! Everyone is already paying way too much for themselves and the uninsured get us to pay when they hit an ER.

the A-hole GOPers lost the election, they're mad as hell and they don't want anything done anymore. Throwing a monkey wrench into the works is all they are capable of ...
Don't look to the drug companies, the corporate hospital ownerships, the AMA for the answer. They want solve a problem, they just want to keep their phony baloney jobs.

where is the left?
o'bama continues these same policies
I was a proud participant at the april 15 worcester tea party that protested:
our governments reckless spending in Irag and now Afghan wars.
The insane bailouts of big business while regular working folks are losing their homes
The continuation of the Patriot Act
the endless printing of money by the federal reserve bank, placing the debt on the shoulders of the next generation
Why do some people think that Obama is so great when he has continued all of these bush policies????
Please
speak out and support 1207 audit of the federal reserve
speak out to end these insane wars in iraq - afghan etc
speak out and end these bailouts of big business - let them fail!
call your congresman / senator
let them know!
Obama = Bush
there has been no change and it has gotten worse!

Hey bob, wtf? we are getting out of Iraq, where we should have never been in the first place. Finally we are shifting attention to Afghanistan where the problem always was. As to the bailout, how much do you understand about that? Businesses in America could not get credit, so if we didn't save wall street, main street would have been died and none of us would have any jobs. And the printing of money is just a monetary policy to keep things moving short term. It will take years for Obama to clean up Bush's mess; you shouldn't blame him for it

selfish, greedy, obnoxious, narcissistic,
Yup! All of that! And more! Know what? What I'm not is an elitist statist dipshit cry baby! Waaaaaaa

You hit that one right on the head! I am sick of all the BS about how it doesn't work in Canada, Ireland, Germany etc. I am a cancer survivor and I want everyone in this country to have access to the proper treatment so we can have more survivors. Your wallet should not allow you to be a survivor, your healthcare should.

...the right to see a doctor if they get sick...
Yeah, that's it. You didn't leave out ANYTHING in your summation.
Gosh, you guys are sooooooo honest.
// "You are selfish, greedy, obnoxious, narcissistic, " //
And the way to right that ship is for them to be forced to pay for your health care (you being so altruistic and all with other people's money), right?
Don't hate us because we don't need the government to take care of us. Look up "wean" sometime, then try it.

The funny thing about what is written above is that it was posted by no one, also free speach comes with a price and that price is the criticism of people, by people with opposing views. The fact is the democrats won the election and to the victor go the spoils. If this administration wanted to they could push the current draft of the health care reform bill in the house and move it to the senate and pass it with out a single republican vote in either house, so why dont they?? the have a filla buster proof majority and could put a bill on Obama's desk by september 2nd, but they cant because there are several democrats who are opposed to the legislation. what I love about this is that members of congress are actually afraid of the negative reactions of their constituants and they should be. welcome to america where you and i can disagree but for some reason when the dissent comes from the right it comes from narrow minded, gun toting, bible loving, fear mongering nut jobs, but when it comes from the left the main complaint is that corruption, corporate greed and illegal scare tactics are the reason for the power shift, like karl Rove who according to you tricked the majority of the country to vote for george bush. MY ass. you people have the house the senate and the whitehouse tell your president to grow some fucking balls and push the agenda that he wants to see and tell those of us who disagree too bad!! the liberals have a right to bitch, but you are bitching at the wrong people. you voted for change, dont blame us because Obama doesnt have the balls bring it

dun
We are building bases in iraq
we are now escalating a losing cause in afghanistan. a war that I do not support and would not sacrifice myself, my sons or daughters for.
would you step up for the cause?
the bailouts of these companies is the biggest rip off of the american public in the history of our country
you bought the line "we need to save wall street to save main street"
bullshit
we are placing all the debt on our kids to bail these asshole companies out that overpaid their employees and took unnecessary risks.
obama is just a continuation of every bush policy
oh wait! we are moving gitmo to minnesota so we can torture "terrorists" there!
there is change we can beleive in!

Yeah, the Bush coporatists have been driving all of the money toward the rich, look up "usurp" sometime, and learn how to oppose it. Chickenhawk.
Ever noticed that every other advanced country in the world has universal health care? Are you happy being 38th in the quality of health care, and 1st in cost? You're a dope.

"we are placing all the debt on our kids to bail these asshole companies out that overpaid their employees and took unnecessary risks."
Then what the Fuck was GW Bush doing when he installed his Tax reductions, which cost the US government 1 trillion over ten years? What the fuck was GW Bush doing passing his MMA act (aka Medicare part D) which cost us over 1.3 trillion over 10 years? What the Fuck was GW Bush doing when he decided to invade a country based on False intelligence, (it was not a slam dunk, but a slam back in our face) which costs us over 600 Billion and counting.
The problem with your argument is that the government run by GOP President and A GOP dominated house from 1994-2006 put America in a big debt hole, bigger than any it has ever faced, until Pres Obama took office. You say he is putting it on your children, well GW Bush already did a fine job of that. Go back and look at the US debt, and you will find that neither Ronald Reagan, Bush I and Bush II were fiscally conservative. The government expanded during all 3 of their presidencies, and the US total debt increased. GW Bush put us in this hole and now you are worried about your Kids? Well sorry to tell you but your kids futures were more than sold during the 200-2008. Stop crying over spilt milk. I sware the GOP and many of their followers, for all their complaints about liberals in Hollywood and drama, happen to be the biggest whiners in the frickin world. I mean just listen to Hannity or Beck talk about how sad they are when Nancy Pelosi tells them that shouting at town halls is un-American and Mob-like. Do you guys have any perspective, I remember being called anti-American when I disagreed with us going into war with Iraq. I remember being called a traitor for disagreeing with the Bush but supporting the troops. You guys are fools, go read Thomas Paine, instead of Glenn Beck and maybe just maybe some of your idiocy will rub off.

Would the smart person who's in charge of sign-making also, say, be able to help the author of this piece gain a more comfortable understanding of how to appropriately use an ellipsis?

A man walks into a very high-tech bar and notices the bartender is a robot.
The robot bartender came over and asked if he could help him.
The man ordered a Martini, which, when served, was excellent.
The man raised his glass to the robot and said, "Very nice. So, what's up?"
The robot politely asked the man what his IQ was. The man replied, "162".
The robot then began to discuss quarks, the theory of relativity and eastern philosophy.
Afterwards, the man left, amazed. As he walked down the street he stopped, turned and went back to the bar.
He ordered another Martini, which again, was superb. When he wanted to chat, the robot again asked what his IQ was.
The man, wanting to see what would happen, said, "About 100."
The robot began to talk of NASCAR, the weather and how the Dodgers might do this weekend.
The man left soon after, even more amazed. He went back the next day and went through the whole process again.
When the robot asked him his IQ, the man replied, "About 50"
The robot leaned in and slowly said,
"H-o-w......d-o.......y-o-u....... a-n-d......y-o-u-r ........f-r-i-e-n-d-s.......
t-h-i-n-k....... O-b-a-m-a.....i-s......d-o-i-n-g ?"
