THE LIST
The Jocks • the Air Staff • The DJs • the Personalities • the Voices
This is as complete a list as we could muster of all the official air staff who ever worked the airwaves of 104.1 WBCN-FM.
Lately I've been giving help and insight to Lisa Traxler as she's collected info for the WBCN on-air personnel list. We're still adding the occasional name, but the people listed below are the vast majority of airstaff, newspeople, and production people who were on the air at WBCN during its 41-year run. If you know of a name we've missed, please post a note in the comment section. Thanks!
I am deleting any suggested names that were not paid staff. Some of those names should go on the Mattress Crew list and hopefully those people have applied for invites to the Mattress Crew get-together in September.

I think the people in charge of this list are not including “anyone who was ever on the air on BCN..”
Think about it: That would be thousands.
Anyway, I am definitley not in charge of that one!
Kerry is qualified for the Mattress/Duane worker get-together, and hopefully she will sign in.

I was a music intern in 1981 for Jimmy Mack. I had a great time with Ken Shelton, Eddie Gordetski, David Bieber, Tony Beridini and Roman Macenkevicwz (sp) from MCA. I miss them all including Jimmy Mack's mom who went out with us a few times. When 's the party?

This is starting to get creepy... What have I done??
People are still confusing this page- which is solely a list of paid, on-air staff announcers- with the other post, which is an invitation for former Big Mattress workers and Duane Glasscock workers to sign up for a get-together in mid September!!
Gadzooks and help me here, someone.

Rich Woodward who was the music director for a short time before Oedipus came on board.
Also, there is my ex-stepson B-Real (Brian Flora), who has been a weekend on air talent for about the past 10 years along with producing Toucher & Rich and The Patriots broadcast.

Hi. I'm Andy Hicks.

I probably don't count for much because only I worked Sunday mornings at BCN for a short time in 1968. As my shift ended (playing easy listening music and religious programs) on came the remote from The Boston Tea Party. This was at the beginning of the changeover. I remember Jack Kearney, Al Perry and Ron Della Chiesa being at the station at that time.
