SHUT UP AND READ THE FACTS AND STOP MAKING STUPID COMMENTS!!
Sorry for yelling... I just lost my head for a moment there.
Okay, (said calmly) Would you mind please reading this before you comment?
Because no one really cares what you think until you have all the facts- and then
what you have to say would be worthwhile in this wonderfully enlightening discussion.
-Thank you

I see I get to to keep my current health insurance I dont have to enroll in the government's plan, I only have to pay for it and not use it. that makes alot of sense. Why dont they just make it so only the people who want it have to pay for it? I know because all the people who want it cant pay for it. Obama said a couple of millionaires are going to pay for it, but I am not a millionaire, so does that mean I dont have to pay? I am trying to be patient and open minded, but the more I see and hear, the less I like.

Memory Man:
Many of us have no problem using our hard-earned tax dollars to build roads and schools, to help those who are really trying (but who are not as lucky as others); and- in general-to let our money be used to better the lives of others: whether it's helping to pay for other people's needs, (like health insurance, welfare and unemployment) or to better our American ways of life.
Conservatives support more of the philosophy of what you might call “tough love.” That's the difference between conservatives and liberals. You can stop asking questions now. Get over it- you are a conservative and have a very conservative philosophy. There are others who simply disagree with you and have a directly opposite way of looking at things. (Not necessarily right or wrong- just different). Please stop trying to change, understand, rationalize or rehash liberal values and standards. Again, pay attention: You are a conservative and have a very conservative philosophy. Just own up to what you really are and stay the course.
Stop trying to be, “patient” and “open minded”- I love you, but you are giving me a headache.

Is this "factual" review from the same Annenberg that Obama and Bill Ayers failed so miserably with on public schools in Chicago? Read the bill yourself and don't have it screened by a liberal clearing house. That said, I'm going to read the bill

Charles:
I think moving forward you should eliminate the ability for us to comment on the healthcare posts, its polarizing, loud and mostly meaningless comments from people, myself included

Oh give me a break, tbone. FactCheck and Annenburg take great pains to make sure they are getting to the actual facts, and they cut both ways. I have no doubts as to the information they provide. They have a reputation to uphold, and they do it.

I particularly enjoy hearing from those that complain how long the bill is and that no one can understand it. How many of them read the 2003 Medicare Modernization Act? It took nearly 500 pages just to update the prescription policies.

Our current system of nearly first dollar coverage (most of us have a co-pay provision) is hardly just insurance but prepaid medical with an insurance component.
We must move to a purely insurance model where we protect ourselves from a large unforseen loss and pay our routine medical care from current income. This will dramatically lower costs for all by eliminating the transfer of payments from patient to insurance company to provider to just, patient to provider.
Our federal government has shown over and over its incompetence in running anything. Why would any sane person expect the federal government to be able to run something as complex as healthcare?

Charles
Your side need to stop lying and shut up and go ahead and pass this bill. There is nothing stopping Democrats but Democrats themselves. You and your party need to stop blaming Republicans period. Your side has enough votes to pass this bill without one Republican vote. (Massachusetts rule changers will make sure of this) If this bill is so good, then why debate it? Go ahead, you side owns it!!

Here's another one, pathetic tool.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/6127514/Sentenced-to-death-on-the-NHS.html
One of the last ones I sent described the mistreatment of over a MILLION patients. Hardly an isolated horror story.
The federal government has no business in this. Get your head out of your socialist ass, then try reading the 10th amendment.
