Terrific! Love it. (I can't help but think of the suits at CBS who are wincing and popping blood pressure meds as Charles stands there by a palm tree telling it like it is, untouchable.)
That is major kudos from one of the top guys in radio ever. I didnt catch on to wbcn until the late 80's and I have been a big stern fan for the last ten years and there isnt anyone i have ever heard Howard say nice things about in radio except you and Mel karmezin, not that you need his validation, but its still nice for me to hear him say that about you
Wow. Thank you so much for posting this. It is so true I have tears in my eyes. I put WBCN online on my favorites list and for the first time since I've driven a car, removed 104.1 from my presets. I hope BCN Underground can bring it back.
Boston radio needs a good Morning Radio show. I am bored.I am a 1979 graduate of northeast Broadcasting school.WBCN was on strike when I was at school...WOW I could not beleave the station i wanted to work for was off limits. Now it is gone what a shame the suits are wrong again.

Truth is, 'BCN lost it when Howard moved into your slot, Chuck. It was never the same after that.

hey Charles, thanks again for meeting up with me in Maui to do that interview. I'm psyched Howard picked it up and used it on his show!

Thanks for putting this up. For the first time I actually could listen to HS without wincing. He is, of course, dead on.
