Social security is not a true socialist program because most people who collect it have contributed to it and the same goes for medicare, the new health insurance program that the Democrats are pushing wouldn't be either because people who pay into the system could take out of the system. I am so relieved to see that I get to keep my current coverage and dont have to enroll in the governments health insurance plan! Oh wait does that make me exempt from paying the tax increase that the new plan would need to collect from me? NOT! its still a relief I guess, I dont have to enroll in the plan I just have to pay additional taxes as if I enrolled in it. So tell me whats the incentive to keep my ptivate insurance? I am not going to be able to elect to not pay the additonal cost for the governments insurance but atleast they arent going to force me to join. people say the new plan is going to be as good if not better than the private insurance on the market now so its kind of like having two identical cars in the driveway one that says GOV'T on the side the other says Private on the side I can "CHOOSE" to drive the private car, they are not going to force me to drive the gov't car, but yet they are going to force me to pay for the gov't car either way. That doesnt sound like much of a friggin choice to me, sounds a bit like an offer I cant refuse, Oh what the hell its Teddy's last wish so lets muscle one more bill thru congress for the Liberal Lion!!
