Runner-Up for Big Mattress Song of the Week (8/9/09) (NOT WORK OR FAMILY FRIENDLY!!)

It's winter and it's really bone-breaking cold and you live in the northern midwest and you have not had a good day and you need an outlet- a song to help you vent... You get in your old Camaro with a pint of Wild Turkey and a chip on your shoulder and you're off to the rodeo!

Rodeo Song lyrics

Well it's 40 below and I don't give a fuck
Got a heater in my truck and I'm off to the rodeo
And it's allemande left and allemande right
Come on ya fuckin' dummy get your right step right
Get off the stage ya god damn goof, get off

piss me off, fuckin' jerk, get on my nerves

Well here comes Johnny with his pecker in his hand
He's a one ball man and he's off to the rodeo
And it's allemande left and allemande right
Come on ya fuckin' dummy get your right step right
Get off the stage ya god damn goof, get off

piss me off, fuckin' jerk, get on my nerves

Well it's 40 below and I aint got a truck
and I dont give a fuck cause I'm off to the rodeo
And it's allemande left and allemande right
Come on ya fuckin' dummy get your right step right
Get off the stage ya god damn goof, get off

piss me off, fuckin' jerk, get on my nerves

Well here comes Johnny with his pecker in his hand
He's a one ball man and he's off to the rodeo
And it's allemande left and allemande right
Come on ya fuckin' dummy get your right step right
Get off the stage ya god damn goof, get off

piss me off, fuckin' jerks, get on my nerves

I love that song. Who did it?

God, that was moving. So profound and you can tell the writer "gets it"

Whoa bringin back the memories NOW. The group was called Showdown and they had a 45 of this AS WELL AS a whole album which is rare as hen's teeth. One of the few "country" records BCN played, as well as "Psycho" by Jack Kittel...trying finding a copy of that 45. Elvis Costello did a cover version but Kittel's is much more authentic and flat out creepy.

I take part of that back...Jack Kittel put out a cd with "Psycho" on it in the late 80's early 90's...but try finding a copy...If he's still alive I think he lives in Knoxville TN. Showdown was from Texas if memory serves.
