OK, I admit that I'm a lightweight and only saw The Harder They Come, 5 times, at the Orson Welles Cinema's over a decade engagement.Thanks for reminding me of the good tunes.

I agree that the movie is tough to watch now, but it does contain one of the greatest tough-guy threat lines ever: "Don't toy with your life, mon." It plays well when the young guys I work with start getting chippy. I wish I had come up with it, but I am happy to steal it. I am now going on ebay to buy the cd.
