I don't know why I am reminded of this but back in another lifetime I put myself through college a a Police mechanic. Back in the not so PC eighties we pulled out the seat belts in the back seat to keep the prisoners from strangling themselve or others. One time I was dropping off a car to have some work done and they sent the officer on patrol in that area to pick me up. He had a prisoner in the back who was f'd up on something. He was screaming and swearing then he started kicking the screen 2 inches behind our heads. Suddenly the officer locked up the brakes at 50 mph. Instintively I put my hands out to keep from hitting the dash, when I heard a big BAMMM! I looked back to see the prisoners face squashed up against the plexiglass. The cop just looked at me and threw up his hands and said, "Squirrel!" and kept driving. The rest of the ride was nice and peaceful.
