Boston U2 Fans
Notice: Yes, the rumors are true. U2 is going to be doing an intimate show at a small venue in Boston shortly. I will save you a lot of valuable time on this one: Your chances of getting tickets to this one are not even slim. Some radio stations were given a mere two or three pairs of tickets for promotional purposes, but do the math- you have a better chance w/ Megabucks lottery.
Don't waste your time and energy asking for favors from your connected friends. You will be wasting their time and energy and yours. Trust me on this. I know two VIPs and one famous Boston (nationally-known) musician who tried and were denied. They'll be back for everyone in the Fall.

Chuck -- my Aunt Lena is very sick. She has one last wish - to see U2 before the Grim Reaper enters the picture. Can you do me this one favor and I promise I'll never ask again. I know I've said that before but this time I really mean it. Honest. Oh, could you get me a block of 4? My cousins Vinn and Tony need to help me wheel Aunt Lena into the show and get her settled.
Thanks Charles - I really, really, really appreciate it.

I heard they were trying to recreate their first Paradise show but they couldn't find the band they warmed up for back then. Anyone know how to get in touch with Barooga?
Oh yeah, I am now just a poor farmer in Ohio and don't get out much but I'd drive to Boston if you can get me a ticket!

I told my old lady (who said she did you one saturday in the freight elevator at the Pru) and she said you lie about stuff like tickets and that you know Boneoh and that you and Allen Cahtah were like best man's when he married The Wedge.
So two... that's all I need- I can even pay for one of them... not that much... but I can pay... and you remember my old lady, right?
