When a video was taken of Kate Moss doing lines of coke with her then boyfriend, many of the companies that used her for advertising cut her loose. So she became quiet and continued to do her thing and after a short time, other companies came to her defense, hired her and she was fashionable again. I think if Michael keeps quiet, holds his head up, sits out the fines and then gets back into his swimming when his "detention" is over, he'll be fine. He may not get Kellogg's back, but other companies will hire him for being a mensch about it and handling the situation in a dignified manner.
