35 to go. Are you serious? It's a good thing the Dems are all so above board. Term limits period. They should all go. Corporations exchange CEOs every 7-10 years because people become stale. Same is true for politicians. How can you still fight and be effective after 30-40 years on the same job. ie. Barney "FDIC" Frank, Ted "Big Dig" Kennedy etc. And No I'm not a Republican but someone who votes for the person that can get the job done. Start running this country like a corporation. Be accountable to the shareholders. Stop wasting our money.
You mean like how businessman/Repuglican Mayor Bloomberg just convinced the NYC council to let him run for a 3rd term after voters put in a two year term limit?
Term limits indeed. Congressmen should serve a four year term (running for re-election one out of every two years is crazy) and have a limit of three. Senators should serve no more than three six year terms (there is something to be said for having some in the Senate experienced at knowing how legislation works).
Then we've got the problem of campaign finance. Limits on the amount a candidate can spend depending on the office. No MORE $20 million campaigns for a House seat. Make it so you don't have to be a millionaire to get elected.

Tom,
You forgot Sen. Robert Byrd D-KKK WV. I've said it before, terms limits are the ONLY thing that will save this Republic!
