I saw the same interview. I watched the entire thing and had the same feeling: O'Reilly is the world's worst interviewer. I feel like Barney had some explaining to do because of this mess he was partially in charge of- and I was thinking how great it would have been to watch an intelligent debate between Barney and an interviewer who really knew the facts and could discuss the issue calmly with him. It would have been a great interview. O'Reilly was not the man for the job. If O'Reilly didn't yell, Barney would have toasted him; he had to rant- that was his only card. The interview should have been between two equals- and it would have been riveting.
Barney got off easy.
Oreilly looked like the asshole he is- always playing to the lowest common denominator.
The problem is O’Reilly is the only person in the Media with the stones to ask Barney those kinds of questions. It is regrettable it degenerated into a shouting match. Barney was the best back in the day; sadly he now is nothing more than the Poster Boy for Term Limits. Great Bailout Bill they passed today.
Is O'Reilly still hitting on interns??? Oops, I'm sorry - that was in the past and the past isn't relative to him. And then, of course, there's the lying about his roots, his awards, his........
