IF YOU HAVE STILL NOT REGISTERED TO VOTE, then please shut the F**k up for the next four years!
It's now or never to be registered where you live. (Click here to find out what the deadline is in your state and click here to find out what the procedures are to sign up and vote. If you are a college student and want to find out where your vote counts most, click here.)
Pardon me for piling on your post, Charles, but on the same subject: this video is kind of cool. (Is that old perv Dustin Hoffman hitting on the intern at the end?) - Choolie
Guys: It's worth the wait as Sarah Silverman takes off her bra while you register! - Charles

They mean well. I don't mind at all when Hollywood people get political. Everyone should...at least wake up. By the way, isn't there a new movie with a bunch of republican actors like Kelsey Grammer, Dennis Hopper, and such? I hope the guy from Sha na na is in it. Cream of the crop or crap.
I wish we didn't have Diebold voting machines or lame candidates.

Ya, good point but really the same BS as "Support our Troops" or "With us or against us"
We have certain inalienable rights, human rights, that have nothing to do with playing political economic games or the priviledges of citizenship granted by the system. I have the right to speak my opinions and the right to choose not to vote and co-sign or be part of perpetuating the economockracy. It's the system stupid! Not saying I won't vote or not. Just that the "Love It or Leave It" sound of being told to shut the fk up if you don't vote is sad. "Change It or Lose It".

Dear Mike:
The little twist-of-phrases-to-make-a-point” trick you use does not work in this case. A more analogous phrase would be “Love it or Change it”. If you don't like any of the choices, go write in the candidate who you feel can come closest to making things happen.
But to just sit on your ass and growl “change it or lose it” might sound cool- but doesn't really change anything- Dude.

LOL, their was no growling in my post or sitting on my ass either. I think that Shut the Fk up for the next four years is more like a growl and being told to shut up is much like being told to sit on our ass for the next four years if we are not good sheep. Obviously there are better ways to get folks to vote than using that line of BS. I know how voting works as far as my choices and options for write in, and indeed for some reason I still hope my vote matters. Yet there is more to this government for and by the people than granting the right of free speech only to those that perpetuate a broken, corrupt, subverted system. You don't have to bind and gag dissenters unless it is your job to spread democracy far and wide and keep a tight grip on homeland power the Bush way. That said, hope you vote Obama on the slim chance that positive changes will happen. LOL, I hope my vote, and all our votes, actually get handled in an honest way this time.

Actually I agree with Charles. I hate when people complain about things and do NOTHING to change it. It's like whine, whine, whine. I would like to add about the student finding out where your vote counts, I hope they research it independently of this site. No offense Charles but I would rather people think and research on their own. In my house, we were expected to vote a specific party because my grandmother did. I would hope people would take the time to form their own opinions. People scare me sometimes.
