stevemin: I won't call you a callous loser, nor will I say that you must be either blind as a bat or a totally insensitive cretin...
and I wouldn't dream of saying that you have lost any trace of keenness in artistic discernment, while expressing utter boredom at some of the most beautifully photographed lighting scenes of the world's best-known structures. But- and let me get this straight- You LOVE Steve Perry.. and the video is “a big yawn”...?
Okay. I have it now...not a problem“.
(I do admire you signing your real name to the comment, by the way).
actually, I'm just giving you flack because I love the video- but you certainly have a right to your opinion- and I have always admired your work;

this time i think you may have missed the mark however..
Actually, Photoshop is used by more than half of today's photographers and illustrators in their professions. It's as common and accepted as- Oh, let's say- Digital Cinematography, which is used widely in modern film-making; and, of course, the digital technology so commonplace in today's music recording. Now, if stevemin had said it was “bad Photoshop”.. (even though I would disagree), he might have made his point.
By the way, I like Journey too. :)
Good grief! Who cares whether the piece has been photoshopped or not - it's still a pretty cool piece of work. Why does everyone feel they MUST deconstruct absolutely everything that Charles puts up on this site? Just enjoy the music and pretty pictures, folks. Thanks for the world tour Charles. (I'm glad to have found you after all these years....I missed listening to the Big Mattress ever since leaving Beantown 20 years ago.)
A sidenote here:
I converted this from a Powerpoint presentation for cl but never heard the original music. So I inserted "Lights" since that's
one of my favorite "guilty pleasures" songs from my favorite "guilty pleasures" band.
Originally I used Beatle George's "the light
that has lighted the world" and briefly
considered "City of Tiny Lights" by FZ but that was too long.
