Wow that was great.I spent 2 weeks 1 summer down there.Probably the best summer of my life, even if my older and pain in the neck cousins were there!Or was it me and my pain in the neck brother I don't know!
Awesome link Chuck, I used to work at the Park back in the 80's when I would sit at the Bermuda Triangle ride with my mirrored shades on listening to BCN on the boombox we had there.....
Nantasket was about a half-hours ride from our town. We would head out there on a moments notice.
I remember the flying mouse as a better ride than the roller coaster ... WBZ had a broadcast trailer right inside the main gate and would broadcast throughout the summer.
Dave Maynard, Bruce Bradley, maybe Dick Sommers -- giveaways, requests, dedications ... the diskjockies would talk to us over the music, they would try to spark romance between the boys and the girls (as if we needed any help there!) -- great times.

Equal time for its brother in the North.
Anyone remember the double ferris wheel on what felt like a cliff overlooking the water?
