Not when an "ironic" cover of The New Yorker hits home so perfectly for so many people. (I already have it on display in my humble home -- first issue of that rag I ever bought.) He'll probably win, Carter did. I'm already resigned to it. Anyway, I'll still have to go to work, still have to pay my taxes. What's the diff? I ignore the news AMAP (as much as possible) anyway... Hey, Obama can restart the "Conversation on Race" right where Bill Clinton left off, that's something to look forward to...
Well, the cover with McCain in a VC outfit grabbing W.'s nuts is pretty good too. As well as the one with him in a wheelchair and Cindy popping meds into his mouth.
But nothing much is likely to change either way except interest rates.
