In the early 60's his movies dominated TV, and did we ever watch.
From the "Public Enemy" days of 1931, to "White Heat" of 1949, to portraying another actor Lon Chaney in "Man of a Thousand Faces" in the late 50' -- and all the great musicals in between -- Actor James Cagney was a man at the top of his profession.

James Cagney was great! I grew up watching him on TV. He was the first Hollywood superstar! He starred in comedies, crime dramas, war dramas, westerns, and musicals.
