1. Bob Barr is going to be a huge spoiler for McCain!
2. Also, please stop listening to the pundits out there who want Hillary to step down. Here's what I think:
a) This gives everybody in every state the opportunity to vote in these 2008 primaries. It's the American way, folks.
b) This keeps the media talking about Hillary and Barrack- and keeps the focus off of McCain.
c) This gives Obama a good taste of what's to come when the wing-nut sliming starts- It is boot camp for the nominee-to-be and I love Hillary for doing it!

I AM a damn pundit.
1. Doubtful, question is how big is the group of disgruntled Hillary supporters and how many WILL sit the election out or vote for McCain.
2. She should be allowed to run through the end of May provided she doesn't go negative. The mud slinging only beneftis McCain.
a. It's NOT the American way. The American way is that we don't even get half the eligible voters to the polls because the Electoral College (much like the Rep. winner take all primary) trumps the popular vote. What's the point of a Democrat voting in Cal. or a Rep. in Texas? This is the biggest flaw in our process.
b. The talk is no good if it is unflattering.
c. No candidate needs food fight experience to know that it's going to be messy. Obama is a speaker and a debater, he'll do fine. The Dems. have to learn how to beat the Rep. at their own game. Attacking McCain for his questionable record as a POW, coughing up info and otherwise cooperating enabled him to emerge from the Hanoi Hilton, 30 lbs. heavier than his fellow POWs. We need some H.H. Veterans for Truth.
d. The Dems if they are to win need to hammer McCain's inner conflicts.
~this is the first war since the Revolutionary War to be totally funded by foreign powers.
~it's the first war we had to borrow money to wage.
~we will end up owing the Chinese 40% of the $3 trillion it will have cost us. The total spent will have been enough to fix SS for 75 years or fund universal health care for all.
~this is the first time in our history taxes were LOWERED during a war.
The responses to these charges should highlight McCain's schizophrenia.
