Yeahhh!!! Bill Hicks was the man. I have listened to a lot of his stuff after he died. I think Mark Parenteau used to play him on the afternoon comedy. Remember five minutes after five o'clock? I wish Hicks were alive today. He would probably die of a heart attack though. When he was alive, it seemed like there was still hope in this country. I ain't feelin' it right now, that's for sure. Too bad he was a big smoker.

Didn't know about him, nor did I know that he died. Obviously before his time. Not to criticize the dead but I watched some of the Chicago footage and can't say that he struck me as that riotously funny. Sort of okay.

Not for everybody... but if the mere thought of sacred cows makes you crave a burger, Bill was your man(iac). Check out www.comedycentral.com/comedians/browse/h/bill_hicks.jhtml
for Comedy Central's tribute.
