His flatulence alone is of grave concern to the ozone. That fart-locker will make El Nino look like a booger. It's called a salad Al, look into it.

Who is suprised by this? He's just another frontman like the rest. I know global warming is a controversial subject. Yet there is an agenda here, like the war on terra. Screw em on all sides. I could explain, yet it probably wouldn't make sense, anyway. Sure, lets get rid of polluants and FF, quit littering and treating the Earth like shit. Our consciousness is anemic.

Al Gore is not a Chink. At least he doesn't look like one. How's his driving?

Flat Al's apparent hypocritical behavior on his electric bills somehow doesn't quite have the same impact as false data about "weapons of mass destruction," 3000+ dead Americans, 20,000 maimed, and countless Iraqis killed. But, I see that the Neo-Cons will grasp at anything and everything to display their "Christian" virtues....and we all "know" tha global warming is a sign of the Second Coming of Christ...

"Those who can, do. Those who can't teach." or however it goes....

Umm, I hate to throw cold water on this conservative wet dream, but there are other facts not mentioned in the story. Namely, that the guy who heads this "think" tank that put out the report learned his chops at the American Enterprise Institute. You know them, one of the prime breeding grounds for neocons both in and out of the White House. And their vice chair of the board of trustees is the former CEO of Exxon-Mobil. Agenda, anyone? USA TODAY

. . . Missing from much of the coverage is a response from the Gore camp. The liberal blog Think Progress, though, has a statement from the former veep's office. Among the points they make:
• "Gore's family has taken numerous steps to reduce the carbon footprint of their private residence, including signing up for 100% green power through Green Power Switch, installing solar panels, and using compact fluorescent bulbs and other energy saving technology."
• "Gore has had a consistent position of purchasing carbon offsets to offset the family's carbon footprint -- a concept the right-wing fails to understand."
ABC News adds that Gore spokeswoman Kalee Kreider says both the former vice president and his wife Tipper work out of the mansion -- activity that presumably pushes up electricity use there.
Missing from much of the coverage is information on what the Tennessee Center is and who's behind it. Liberal bloggers at Seeing the Forest say it claims "to be non-partisan but only link(s) to far-right and conservative groups so regardless of what their status is with the IRS, this is a conservative, strongly-leaning Republican organization." ...

v.f.,
Not even a good try at deflection. Bottom line is Al Gore is a lying hypocrite, and the Neo-Con's didn't make him that way.

Please take note of the source of the criticism and the statement by the Nashville Electric Service.
I might add this paraphrase: "George W. Bush is a lying hypocrite and the Neo-Cons DID make him that way."
Apparently I struck nerve.

Typical demz: Al's on a diet, but someone else is eating salad's while he goes to Wendy's in his Hummer. I need to purchase some alchohol "offsets" so I can keep drinking.

Even if you're not a fan of the Decider-in Chief, this article from 2001 does show he's eco-friendly when it comes to his personal residence anyway...
