Only if because they are not white Americans, they are first flown in a corporately-supplied CIA jet to an Egyptian jail, where after being waterboarded and otherwise abused, then flown back to Gitmo where they are furhter abused until they die of a "hunger strike" or other unspecified form of abuse/torture.
This "retired military person" was very lucky to have won this encounter with 1 DEAD thug and 3 thugs "whereabouts unknown" and 12 Americans ALIVE. Another scenario would be 4 thugs "whereabouts unknown" and 12 DEAD Americans had he NOT been successful, or had he NOT taken some action, there could have been 4 thugs "whereabouts unknown" and 12 DEAD Americans. BUT, everyone loves a winner even if it's a (Godhelpme)a...a...Republican.
and if it had happened here, the whole lot of them would have been arrested! good for them, & good for the local police, who realized the muggers took their chances & got what they deserved! and, no, charles- having a sense of righteousness doesn't mean you're republican-or democrat either for that matter!
No, but if you were to say to the article listed at the bottom of the news page (about the new species' being discovered due to our ice caps melting) "We never would have made such environmental breakthroughs without the natural melting of these ice caps!". THEN I would consider you a republican.
