Part 2: Howie Carr and I are direct opposites, politically speaking- but we shared a mutual fondness for Darrell (and for entertaining radio in general).

Recommend Carr's book The Brothers Bulger -- has some dry patches, but also lots of great stories about Billy, Whitey, and the FBI.

No need to apoligize for your friendship with Howie, Hell some of my best, oldest and dearest friends are Liberals.
