Is it just me?
Or is anyone else a bit disturbed by this question/answer press conference?
(I am curious what you think of this- Republican or Democrat) Please comment.

He wasn't really elected, he's a puppet, he continued to read a book during the 9/11 assaults (no more pictures of that kind of thing, please!), Cheney and Rove are available, and we have a shadow government, anyway. He probably should be very careful, it appears that his own people may be seeing him as a liability.

Right, elp.
Read between the pretty obvious lines:
No need to inform Non-Essential Personnel.
So, he's either a front or holds the traditional position of the Vice President, whichever it is.

How do we allow this Bozo and his arrogant cronies to stay in power? Someone, PLEASE explain that to me...

What I realized when Georgie was re-elected that it had very little to do with logic or rational thought, so therefore we are probably dealing with a collective psychological problem. My guess is that it is fear, fear of a fast changing world, fear of growing up and taking responsibility for our actions, fear that life is more complicated than we grew up believing, fear that we Americans can't go on living the way we do in good conscience.
Where I believe the Republicans have excelled is tapping into that fear and making a large portion of us believe that the enemy is outside and that we need the archetype of hero, daddy, cowboy, etc. to save us. As long as the Dems try to make us face the truths we try to avoid they fight an uphill battle. Besides, they've lost lots of credibility over the last 30 years with their own greedy gobbling at the trough.

Don't blame me. I had him pegged as a "jabrone" (Charles, please correct the spelling on that) from day one. It never ceases to amaze me how vast numbers of people vote against their own self interest & fall for the "lower taxes" crap over & over.
