Does anyone have any other versions of this?

You forgot the version sung by Jay Silverhills

I'll be listening. Are you going to offer a CD? BTW - I'm still waiting for my copy of Call of the Islands. Sent my check and SASE weeks ago. Really enjoy hearing you again! Glad you're back!

I played the "Pepper's Pow-Wow" LP version on my first fill-in on the 60's/70's folk-rock show "Highway 61 Revisited" on WUMB, Boston a few weeks ago. I don't think it has ever been played on that station before.

The regular host Barnes Newberry, who I subbed for, often plays the Brewer & Shipley version, though he dug up the "Everything Is Everything" version last week.

The 60's/70's folk-rock show "Highway 61 Revisited" is on WUMB 91.9, the professional public radio folk music station from U. Mass Boston, Saturday mornings 7-11 AM EDT. Streams are at http://www.wumb.org.

I was hired last month to be the regular occasional substitute host for the show, and I'll be trying for my own slot there this summer. It's my first music radio gig since leaving volunteer WMBR at MIT in Cambridge, MA after 22 years last fall. Thanks again to Charles for Chuckin' in long distance on the last show!

Are you serious? 45 minutes of Witchi-Tai-To? On a spring New England Wednesday afternoon? I know what I'll be doing...Maybe I'll put some flowers in my hair ;-))

You Rock on Chuckkk!

There's one I've been looking for by a Bonzo Dog Band offshoot called Topo D. Bil that supposedly has Chris Squire(Yes) and Keith Moon(Who) playing on it.

I think the best 4 versions happen to be the ones on Oregon's Winter Light, Beyond Words, Out of the Woods and Live at Yoshi's albums, but that's just me. Saw them at Scullers on May 24th.

Hello! I've been collecting Jim Pepper music and versions of "Witchi Tai To" for some years. I know of 57 versions released on vinyl or CD; so far, I have 42, all but two on CD! FYI, Dave, the Topo D. Bil version (originally a 1970 U.K. single) can be found on "The Famous Charisma Box Set", a 4-CD compilation from the Charisma label.
