the way radio was meant to be.
Nice blurb..but I don't know even know how to run the board yet!
It's not-like- state of the art equipment (if you catch my drift)
But the mic is great- makes me sound big, and cool and mellow.

"Mellow"? That must be some mic....'-)
As far as old equipment, well, you're old- as Dolly Levi would say, "It's a match!"
God, you're like a kid in a candy store. You are so cute!

Meant to be? I'm pretty sure that when Marconi and de Forest and Armstrong dreamed the whole thing up, they envisioned some sort of money making enterprise. You know, so they could retire to Hawaii someday.
What do you mean "don't know how to run the board YET"?

Hi Charles! I was just reading some of the comments
people have been submitting and all of the 'BCN memories came flooding back
in ... man what a rush. I was there for WBCN's sweet 16 birthday party at
Spit. I had a spot next to Mark right up close @ the lighting of the
candles! That was one of the best memories. There were lots of them for me.
But do people remember your cable show on the local cable? I went to a
couple of the shows. Hot Tin Roof I think it was .. shot in the cable studio
in Norwood. Anyway its good to hear your back on and right now I'm waiting
at work with the live streaming sound of Manao Radio on waiting for
Chucccck. We miss you!

Hey Charles,
Welcome back! Missed you. I'll be listening tomorrow. Break a leg!

There is no board (of Directors) Charles! You have come into your own. We can't wait to hear what YOU have to say musically. After all these years of servitude! Take this wild STEP and make us all proud. Break their legs! Love Mary

Glad to see the good Lord was willing ,there was no melt down ,the creek didn't rise and we're still holding our breath that the knuckle head from Texas doesn't touch the LITTLE RED BUTTON.
It was good to wake up to the voice of my youth.

Charles, all I can say is THANK YOU...It is wonderful to hear you and your music back on air again...As a long time 'BCN listener who has since relocated to Minneapolis, let me say what a breath of fresh air the show is so far..I am listening on the net and loving every minute ...Keep on truckin from the islands and it's great to have you back....

Hey Charles -
Thanks for getting back on the "air."
LOVE the diverse music you played.
Only thing now...is Wednesdays need to happen more than just once a week!
Just GREAT to hear you again.
I'm recording using MusicMatch Jukebox on a PC (sorry Charles). Works great. If anybody needs info about doing this, please let me know.

Thanks a lot, Charles..........now I will plan on getting nothing done every Wednesday from now on! LOVED the show.....:)!!!!!!!!!!
Spent time reminiscing, and then looking at the Maui real estate listings....those island tunes really call us to the islands...
What a great mix!!!!
Can you work the "Rodeo Song" into your next show??

Did anyone tape the show, or any part of it? I'll pay top dollar or maybe trade a Big Mattress T-Shirt or maybe trade out-take of Charles' biggest fuck ups from the old Around Town Network TV Show or......
I left my computer on the "record" mode but the streaming bugged out after about 5 minutes - I never got to hear the return of CL!
You can email me directly at: stevemin@charter.net
Many thanks folks. Steve
(PS: did Vinnie B tape it???)

Hey Chuck, sounded great here on the South Shoah (Massachusetts). 1969 all over again. "What does this button do?" slayed me.
For recording try Audacity (powerful) or StepVoice v. 1.0 (simple). Both free.
