Somebody must have told this incredibly wonderful pitcher-just-turned-Jesus-Freak-Right-Wing-bigmouth that he was mangling the buzz of at least half of sports-loving America; and to shut up, pitch and keep his politics to himself.

Anyway, why put stock in what actors or athletes think about politics? They are ENTERTAINERS. Hundreds of years ago, these people would have been minstrels, with bells on their hats and shoes. George Kennan they are not. (Is George Kennan dead? Must go check...)
