Geez I'm a republican?? But last time around I voted for Nader? I don't understand, I guess I never will figure out how you "liberals" think and reason.
If it
• talks like a Republican
• watches the O"Reilly show with the fervor of a Republican
• uses all the lame (I mean same) excuses for Bush's "war on terror" like a Republican
• and agrees with most of the decisions of the current administration like a Republican
Then it must be a Republican. (Or is this sort of like David Brudnoy saying he is not a Republican- but a libertarian?)
It seems to me that as long as I have been watching the big game of modern politics the Republican supporters have been blind followers of everything their party does and feverant critics of everything the Democrats do and yes of course the Democrats are just as guilty of the same behaviour.
Just watch "Meet the Press" on sunday for many great examples.
I am in the "middle" trying to disseminate what both bad choices have to offer and pick and choose between things both parties offer, good and bad.
Just because I don't declare everything the Bush admin does as bad should not make me a Republican? Or that I don't declare everythign the Dems do as good should not make me a Democrat.
But hey I am just trying to keep the discussion going via my "opine" on the subject.

I did not realized I "talked" like a republican?
